This is the outfit that I wore the other night to see Caetano Veloso live in concert. It was his first time here in Seattle and my first time seeing him perform after growing up listening to my mom play (and sing) his songs. Needless to say, it was a very fun show!

I have recently been getting into wearing blazers. They are a great way to pull a simple jeans-and-tee to the next level. (They also make me feel very grown up). This jacket by Alice Hope was a steal that I found at my local TJ Maxx. It has a diagonal zipper and when open, looks like a striped blazer. I have a feeling I will be getting plenty of use out of it this Fall.
