Hi guys!
Happy Labor Day!
Labor Day here in the Northwest U.S. is considered the final hurrah of summer. After this weekend, schools start and everybody gets back down to business. The fun of summer is over.
On that note, I wanted to post a back-to-school makeup look that all the students out there can do with few products and little time. Great for your mornings after a late night studying and using all drugstore products won’t break the bank!
Covergirl 3-in-1 Foundation
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Lashblast 24HR Mascara
Starting with the Covergirl 3-in-1 Foundation, I use one pump for my entire face. I like this foundation because it combines several steps into one product. It combines primer, foundation, and concealer into one quick step.
After dotting the product all over my face, I buff and blend it into the skin with a brush. I like the Real Techniques face brushes (which are sold as a set in most drugstores) but you could also use your fingers or a makeup sponge.
To hid my under eye circles, I use two different concealers: one to treat and one to brighten. I place and blend in first the treatment concealer then follow with the brightening one. If you are pressed for time, just use the brightening concealer as it will add some dimension and light to a tired face
Cream blush adds natural looking color back into the face. I pat it on and blend it out with my fingers
If you are oily like me, I recommend setting your foundation and concealer with a matte powder. For dry skin, just set where you placed your concealer. The foundation is long wearing enough that it should stay put without greasing up all day long.
Finish off with several coats of mascara and you are set to go!
What do you guys think?
Not bad if you are pressed for time.
Throw on some tinted lip balm while you wait for the bus and no one is any the wiser that you were up late the night before
What are your tips and tricks for getting out the door in time?
Are there certain things that you can’t omit for your makeup routine even on a rushed morning
Let me know in the comments!
I’m on ’em all!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
