J.Crew Green Corduroys

Supersoft Turtleneck Sweater (This style is slightly oversized and also works well with leggings. I’m wearing a medium because I wanted it bigger. Here’s the cropped version of the sweater with a mock neck.) // Green Corduroys (I love these and haven’t stopped wearing them. Way more comfortable than jeans in my opinion. TTS) // Blondo Waterproof Suede ankle boots (the best ankle boots for fall and winter. I mean they’re waterproof. What else do I need to say) // J.Crew Tartan Scarf (If you’re only going to get one holiday-themed item, make it this scarf. There’s also a J.Crew Factory version here)  // $10 Amazon Sunglasses

Oh my gosh, this is going up super late today. It’s one part me not making time to edit yesterday and another part forgetting to just hit “schedule”. Anyways, let’s keep things brief today since it’s 3 pm already…

Green Corduroys

I’m so happy that corduroys are back in style. First off, they are so much more comfortable than jeans. Second, they come in fun colors versus just shades of blue. I used to have a pair of purple corduroy overalls that I loved and wore to death as a kid, and these pants remind me of that every time I wear them.

I actually tried these on last year at J.Crew during their With a Twist event but only just got around to buying my own pair. I’m so happy that I finally did too. These have been in serious rotation these days. Corduroys are just so much more comfortable than jeans. Softer and easier to move around in, which is exactly what I want for my pandemic wardrobe.

Supersoft Turtleneck Sweater

This super soft sweater is exactly what the name indicates. Super soft. J.Crew uses this fabric in a handful of items including this turtleneck, a more cropped mock neck sweater, sweater dresses, hats, scarves, gloves, you name it. It’s really warm and cozy although it does itch a little bit on my neck.

This turtleneck is meant to be slightly oversized and larger than a Steve Jobs style fitted turtleneck sweater. I’m wearing a medium because I wanted the looser fit. It’s also long enough to wear with leggings.

Tartan Scarf

This is THE scarf of the season. It’s a festive plaid that you’ll see all over social media once you start looking. I say if you want to get a single tartan item for your holiday wardrobe, make it this scarf. It’s easy to throw it on top of any winter sweater and call the entire outfit festive without actually trying that hard.

Waterproof Ankle Boots

These Blondo ankle boots have been a great find for wet Pacific Northwest weather.  These have been my go-to shoes for over a month as the suede is completely waterproof. I just wish I had purchased them sooner. I also have the Blondo ‘presto’ boots which I absolutely love and you can read the full review here.

They run TTS (I’m wearing a 7.5 with normal socks) and have a short break-in period but it’s nothing terrible. If you have wider than average feet, I’d recommend looking into their wider sizes as these seem to be on the narrow side of standard.
