I’m not kidding when I say that I haven’t been wearing anything besides leggings on the regular these days. Between winter weather, pandemic living, and daily life with a toddler, I don’t have any interest in wearing jeans.
However, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to dreaming of spring weather and better outfit choices. We got some sunny warmer weather over the weekend which inspired me to pull out my jeans for the first time in over a week. I’m sure you’ve felt the same at some point this winter. Asking yourself what’s the point of changing out of the leggings and sweaters but only to feel amazing when you finally do.
So to inspire us all to get ready for spring, here are eight spring outfits I wish I could wear right now!
8 Spring Outfits To Wear Right Now
London Fog trench coat (similar trench coat on sale. It also comes in plus sizes)// J.Crew stripe shirt (this is a top favorite of mine. I wear it basically any time it’s clean. Size down for a tighter fit) // similar bow jeans (these are more cropped than mine but they are currently on sale) // Cole Haan Sneakers (These are so comfortable. Runs TTS. I have an entire review here. Some colors are on sale here) // $25 Target Backpack (I use this as a diaper bag and I love it! It holds everything I need for a day out with Teddy) // $10 Amazon Sunglasses (because yes, there are days in Seattle where you need sunglasses and an umbrella at the same time)
Stain repellant button down (this is a relaxed fit to size down if you want it more fitted. I’m wearing a small) // similar polka dot skirt (but you can find my exact one on second-hand sites) // similar navy sandals (mine were a TJ Maxx find that are available on second-hand sites) // super affordable tote bag (it’s currently on sale for $20!)
Boden Richmond 7 / 8 Pants (Also available here. This print isn’t available anymore but they do come in a bunch of other colors including pink gingham. J.Crew has a very similar pair of gingham pants in blue and pink) // Old Navy chambray button-up (if you need an affordable chambray shirt, this is a great option. I wear mine all the time) // old Michael Kors heels (these are the newer version from Michael Kors but these are also very similar) // Prada bag (I got this bag via Fashionphile which is my go-to for used designer. I have a whole post about how I invest in designer bags here)
old J.Crew shirt (similar here that is already on my wishlist) // Chambray Wide Leg Bow Pants (I love these pants for the summer and have an entire review of them here) // Old Navy Chambray Espadrilles (these are surprisingly comfortable and only $40! ) // Amazon Sunglasses (these $10 sunglasses are the only ones I ever wear anymore. They are perfect for people like me who constantly break sunglasses)
J.Crew Factory Pants (I LOVE these pants! They are incredibly comfortable and I really like the bow detail on the front. They do run a bit large so if you’re in between sizes, size down!)// Stripe Shirt c/o (This striped boatneck shirt is a staple in any wardrobe. I wore my old one so much while I was pregnant that I stretched it out and had to replace it. I honestly can’t live without it) // J.Crew Cardigan c/o (This is a nice staple cardigan for all you ladies who get cold often. I have one of these that used to live at my office during the summer when the AC was blasting. This style comes in a couple of different colors as well as without the eyelet cutouts. I’m wearing a medium.) // Jeffrey Campbell Flats (I love these flats but heads up they do slip off my heels for the first 20 minutes of wearing them. These seem like they’d be similar and also come in several cute prints)// Prada Bag (Again, this is a designer item that I purchased second hand. I love Fashionphile for second-hand designer handbags as they can authenticate them and always have very reasonable prices)// $10 Amazon Sunglasses (These are some of the only sunglasses I own because for $10 they can’t be beat. Especially by someone notorious for sitting on and breaking sunglasses.)
Rachel Parcell shirtdress (I love it so much I have it in two colors. I love that it doesn’t wrinkle. Here are similar options also available here) // similar tote bag // similar sandals
Similar Button Down // Old Navy Jeans // similar slig back flats // J.Crew Trench Coat // similar hat
Paige Denim (these are the best and softest jeans but pricey. These Madewell jeans and these Old Navy jeans are great alternatives) // J.Crew Shirt (here’s a newer version of this happy yellow shirt) // Old Navy Cardigan // Vintage Coach Bag //similar shoes here
