Contrary to internet beliefs, December 1st is not too late to be buying Christmas pajamas for your kids. I just got a special pair for Teddy to wear this month while we create some holiday magic. There are tons of options out there depending on what you want price, pattern, and fabric wise so I wanted to highlight my favorites (ie cold weather friendly) but also share different places to look in case you are shopping for your kids as well.
Where to Find Holiday Pajamas for Babies and Kids
Carter’s
My favorite pajamas for Teddy have been from Carters. Their fleece footed pajamas have been the best thing that I’ve found for our cold winters. I don’t have to worry about him being cold overnight since these are basically like wearing a blanket. These are also some of the most affordable PJs out there that aren’t paper-thin.
This year Carter’s has a ton of holiday PJ options including some in adult sizes if you want the entire family to match. I almost went for the Santa sharks for Teddy but ended up with a more traditional plaid set instead.
Gap
Gap Kids has some great holiday pajama options this year as well. I like their PJs if I’m looking for specific characters (they have a great superhero collection). These wash well and stay soft after multiple rounds in the machine. The baby and kids PJs are generally 100% cotton but you can find the rare set that is a heavier fabric if you live in an arctic tundra like me. I love this twist on a fair isle print but with dinosaurs.
Old Navy
Old Navy is the place to look if you want family matching pajamas. They really do cater to families, making PJs that even dads will be willing to wear so that the entire family will match on Christmas morning. Personally, I find that they are on the thin side but if that isn’t an issue for you, go to town. I love their rainbow Fair Isle design for this year. It truly can’t be beaten. Plus they are almost always on sale and the prices can’t get much lower than this.
Hanna Andersson
You may have seen your favorite family influencers talking about Hanna Andersson’s pajamas recently. These are very popular online because the quality is fantastic and they have the best selection of prints and patterns out there. Teddy owns a few pairs of these and they really are of great quality. My only issue is that they aren’t warm enough for our cold damp winter weather so our family only uses them in the summer months. However, if your kids sleep with blankets or a sleep sack, Hanna Andersson really is a great quality option.
Hanna Andersson also sells styles for adults if you want the entire family to be matching on Christmas morning.
Crew Cuts
J.Crew’s kids’ line has a handful of nice options. I’ve never tried their pajamas for kids but everything else that Teddy owns from Crew Cuts is very nice and well made. These tend to be preppy and traditional as is the entire brand.
Maisonette
Maisonette is a semi new to me brand. I’ve found some really beautiful and unique gifts for kids on their site. They have higher-end clothing and pajamas for kids. So if you want Roller Rabbit and that range, this is the place for you.
Little Sleepies
This is a brand that I only know about because it has super fans. People go nuts over these as they are apparently very very soft. They have a great selection of holiday designs, even some for adults although the brand is generally only for babies and toddlers.
