Hi guys!
In honor of Independence Day tomorrow here in America, I put together three different outfits that will be spirited no matter how you are celebrating. As these looks don’t involve massive amounts of stars and stripes, they could work for any of you out there with the colors red, white, and blue on your flag. Try it out on your next national holiday perhaps?
These three looks all feature these cute little red flats from I.N.C. I have been desperate to wear them and decided to make these looks around them. They can function as a statement shoe and add a pop of color to any outfit.
The first is the most casual. Try out a high waisted pair of denim shorts and a white shirt tucked in. I like this shirt as it has a low back and an added black detail on the trim. Add red shoes to add some fem into this simple and casual look.
For the second look, pair some white pants (those of you brave enough) with a blue button up and red flats. I think of this as a “East Coast” look as it is more put together and fitted, where the first look is a little more “West Coast”. What do you think?
I actually wore this look earlier in June and was told I looked overly patriotic for June. haha!
The third is the most formal of the three but the easiest to transfer to non 4th of July occasions. Pair up a blue skirt with a white blouse and finish off with your favorite red shoe. I chose to use a pencil skirt with a sleeveless ruffled blouse for added femininity to the otherwise simple look. I can see this looking professional enough for a work setting if you added a short cardigan on top of it all.
Let me know if you recreate any of these looks!
Do you have a favorite statement shoe?
What are you planning on wearing for 4th of July?
Let me know in the comments!
I’m on then all!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
