Makeup Monday – One Product Smokey Eye

Hi guys!

Welcome back to another addition of Makeup Monday! I am finally back on track and actually have a makeup look for you guys today (although it is a little late)

The thing that I love about this look is that it only takes one product and minimal blending!

Lazy makeup = love

I use the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows for this look but any cream eyeshadow should work. The Color Tattoos are inexpensive, have a great variety of shades, and Maybelline is launching a new line of matte shades if shimmer isn’t your thing.

If you haven’t tried out these Color Tattoos, I would recomend that you test them out. They work great on their own, how I’m using them today, or as a base/primer for other shadows.

For this look, I simply swirled my finger in the product and patted it onto the lid, focusing more product on the outer corner and up onto the crease.

With a clean fluffy eyeshadow brush, go over the edges of the makeup to blend/smoke out the edged and give any desired shape to the look.

If you want more drama, swirl the brush into the product and start building up product onto the eye. I like to focus more product close to the lash line and blend outward and upwards to get the smokey effect.

For a daytime look, finish up with some mascara and you are set to go. I like to tight line my eyes for a little more dramatic evening look.

And it’s that simple!

Let me know if you try this look out. I’d love to hear what you guys think of it!

Have you tried out the Maybelline Color Tattoos?
Are you planning on trying out the new matte “leather” shades?

Let me know in the comments or on social media

I’m on ’em all!

Until next time,
Ana Luiza
