Pink and Gingham

Pink and Gingham - Northwest BlondeSo it is August and therefor still summer and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! I’m taking the opportunity to get in all my summer colors before the seasons change and I feel obligated to wear burgundy rather than hot pink.

I have shown this pink pencil skirt before here but wanted to share this fun 9-5(ish) look. Pairing the bright pink skirt with this navy gingham cotton blouse ended up being the perfect cocktail for a late summer look. Let me know what you think! Are you a fan of mixing prints and colors? I go both ways (and have obviously taken a slight break from my monochorme of the past few weeks ;))
