New York Fashion Week has been a blur of running between shows and previews and meetings and appointments but I want to bring it back to what all the entire week is about: the clothes. Day 2 of New York Fashion Week consisted of two different fashion shows for me, Idan Cohen and Claudia Li.
The first show was Idan Cohen, 27 year old Israeli designer, and the collection consisted of beautiful glam pieces that are fit for the Oscars. Each piece was sequined to the max in a range of pastels, which I am sure we will see more of next spring and summer. I instagramed a picture of the dress above from the back as it went down the runway to show just how beautifully it moved with the model.
Claudia Li was the second show of the day and it took a much more casual beach vibe. The collection featured all monochrome outfits in light blues, black, and creams and the models all wore sandals in celebration of the launch of Claudia Li’s first line of footwear (she will also launch a line of handbags in Spring 2016). The collection was full of woven textures and plenty of fringe, so it looks like we have more fringe to look forward to in the spring but this time without the 70’s flair
Check back this weekend for more Fashion Week coverage! I’m already looking forward to the trends coming next spring!
I LOVE this collection! Thanks for sharing! Hope you had an awesome time!
