Happy New Year lovely readers! The first weekend of the New Year also brought the first snow of the year, which for the Pacific Northwest is a rare thing. I jumped at the opportunity to bust out some of my winter accessories and play in the snow.
Many of you have seen this blanket scarf in various other posts this winter but it is a cold weather staple for me. This one is extra wide and easily doubles as a shawl, wrap, or straight up blanket. Secondly, I’ve been loving the beanie with pom-pom trend that has recently surfaced along with dropping temperatures. I was able to test run the trend for myself this past week and loved this knit cap from Target. (They have tons of other great styles here). Lastly, I want to bring up winter socks. Not the most glamorous item or commonly discussed on style blogs I know, but if you have cold toes you need to get some SmartWool socks in your life! I love the super chunky hiking socks for cold days but they also have thinner varieties for inside boots.
