Midi Skirts for Spring

Midi Skirts for Spings

If you read my post last week on Tulle Skirts, you’ll know that I have been obsessed with and totally loving on the new spring trend of knee length skirts (or tea length, if you’re fancy). It is retro with a modern twist and just in time for the finale of Mad Men.

When researching different possible options for myself, I noticed that these skirts (for the most part) come in either bold solid colors or floral prints. The solid skirts are more versatile in that you can dress them up and down without looking too dated. The floral print ones have a slightly more retro feel but updated bold colors keep it from looking like a vintage piece.

For these skirts, dress them up with heels, a fitted top, and statement jewelry. Dressing these bright skirts down looks great with a simply slouchy tee or your favorite chambray top and any flats or sandals. I bet even Converse would look great!

What is your favorite way to wear these mid length skirts?
