Welcome to Northwest Blonde! I’m Ana Luiza the bottle blonde behind the blog! I started Northwest Blonde when I moved to Seattle and needed a little style and glam in a city known for its laid back and grunge culture.
Want to know a little bit more about me?
I went straight from my high school graduation to the Big Apple (seriously there were about five days in-between) where I danced ballet professionally until an ankle injury ended my dancing days in 2012. I moved back to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where I completed my degree in Art History.
After a stint working in art galleries, I followed my passion for fashion and finagled my way into the buying office of a national jewelry store chain. There I learned about the flip side of the retail world, which was nothing like working on the sales floor.
While I loved working in retail, I decided to take a break from the corporate world in 2019 to stay home and raise my son.
Oh did I mention that while all that was happening, my boyfriend and I got married, bought a house, and had a baby? He’s the chubbiest, happiest baby if I do say so myself ;).
So that’s a little bit more about me and what you can expect when you’re here on Northwest Blonde. I hope to see you here again and never hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or just want to chat!
Thanks for reading and welcome to Northwest Blonde!
Until next time,
Ana Luiza
