Yes, You Need A Camel Colored Blazer

Ok so in these divisive times let’s just all agree on one thing, you need a camel blazer. I really hope that I’m preaching to the choir on this one but if you still need convincing (or want to know the best places to get one), just keep reading.

CAMEL BLAZERS ARE SUPER VERSATILE

Do you only invest in pieces that you can wear for both work and play? Do you need your third piece to get the most bang for your stylish buck? Do you want to look chic and stylish without too much added effort? If you said yes to any of these, then a camel blazer is for you!

For just about any of your business casual or dressy casual needs, you can easily add a camel blazer to your outfit for an instantly elevated look. It’s partially the third piece rule made simple and the fact that a blazer is a timeless piece and camel is a timeless color. Put it all together and you’ve got a wardrobe must-have in the making.

In these pictures, I went for the all neutral look but you can just as easily pair your camel blazer over a flannel and jeans (casual holiday outfit anyone?), or with an all-white outfit for a clean look, or with stripes and boyfriend jeans for a weekend look (see that full post here).

WHERE TO GET A CAMEL BLAZER

The golden standard in this blazer is the J.Crew Schoolboy blazer. I’ve never personally tried one of these because it wasn’t in my budget for a long time, however, I’ve asked around and it comes highly recommended by everyone who has tried it. There is also the Parke Blazer which is a little more modern looking with a longer, skinnier lapel. It’s almost a good boyfriend blazer option.

Another great option is the J.Crew Factory version of the same blazer. This one is a bit lighter and made of a thinner material to the original version. They also carry a sweater blazer for those of you who’d like to swap out cardigan for something a little more structured (there is a wool version as well).
